Traditional Thai Massage is famous around the world for its hot herbal ball compress, known as just Thai herbal ball massage. The herbal compress contains ‘secret’ ingredients that have been closely guarded down through generations. Join us for this special opportunity to learn this ancient healing art from someone who studied at the Traditional Thai Massage School of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Included in the one day eight hour course:

 

v     Learn a simplified half-hour traditional Thai massage to prep for herbal ball treatment

v     Learn how to make your own herbal ball from easy to find fresh ingredients*

v     Experience is properties: analgesic, astringent, soothes muscle & joint pain

v     How to use herbal ball as part of other applications like Sports & Neuromuscular    

 

*Plai: This is the only herbal ingredient that is not available in its fresh form in the US and will be substituted with its essential oil

 

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing (exercise warm-ups & t-shirt that you don’t mind getting stained with herbs). Also bring one fitted queen-size sheet, (one pillow and pillow cover); headrest pad & cover. If you already have a Thai floor mat, please bring it as well; plus water bottle & note-taking supplies.
